Arabian Nights by the Beach

We would like to thank the wonderful people who were down at Arabian nights by the beach last Saturday. It was an amazing crowd and we are delighted that you enjoyed yourself. And if you were there, you would have been one of the 1200 people who were there for a magical night of entertainment, great food, fun, and lots of excitement. But for those who couldn¹t make it, we also have some pictures of last week¹s event.

The highlight for this week will be tunes performed by the Al Bedouin Middle Eastern music ensemble. These guys are really well known for their captivating music and have performed internationally at many major events in the world. Be sure to check them out and we promise a night to remember. Besides the music, the event will also showcase another stunning performance by the bellydancers from Bellydance Discovery. They were brilliant last Sat and guests this weekend can expect to witness another breathtaking performance. As always, the event starts from 6.30-10.30 pm at the Cool Deck, Siloso beach. Looking forward to seeing you all there again!

For next weekend (23 Sept 06), we will be featuring an "Arabian meet Hawaiian" themed evening. Take part in the first ever Best Hawaiian Dress-Up Competition! The most convincing "Hawaiians" will win Islander memberships and a fabulous stay at Siloso Beach Resort! Register by emailing

Arabian Nights by the Beach

Arabian Nite @ Siloso 2005 was a huge success, attracting over 1,000 participants to a mouthwatering display of dance, music, food and fashion. It was also a sizzling night for belly dancing enthusiasts, with live performances by Claribel's Raks Sharki Studio and Bellydance Discovery. Also on offer were also complimentary dance workshops, ethnic fashion shows, and even a drumming display by Singapore's very own Drummers of the Nile. But the highlight of the event would have to be a congregation of bellydancers attempting to set a new Guinness World Record for the largest mass participation of sychronised bellydancing. It was truly a sight to behold. See event pics below.

Arabian Nights by the beach 2006 promises to be even bigger, bolder, and definitely a lot HOTTER. For 4 Saturdays in September (beginning 9 Sept), treat yourselves to all things Arabian @ the Cool deck, Siloso Beach, from 6.30-10.30pm. Move to the groove of Middle Eastern beats as bands, drummers, and DJs and bellydancers turn on the heat. Also stand a chance to win exciting prizes including a resort stay and Islander memberships in the first ever Arabian meets Hawaiian dress-up competition. For more information, log on to www.sentosa.com.sg and get ready for the magic and mystique of Arabian Nights by the Beach.
